Yadkin County is located in the Piedmont region of northwestern North Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yadkin County offers diverse outdoor activities centered around the Yadkin River, including kayaking, fishing, and hiking, along with local parks, vineyards, and nearby state park access. Key spots include the Yadkin River Trail for paddling, Yadkinville Community Park for walking and events, and Pilot Mountain State Park for scenic hiking and horseback riding.
Yadkin County Human Services Agency is a consolidated agency comprised public health and DSS. The E. Health supervisor is supervised by the Consolidated Director and leads a team of five including three Program Specialists and an Administrative Support Specialist.
