Union County Environmental Health Student Intern- OSWP Program

This is a fantastic opportunity for a college student who is seeking experience in the field of environmental health!

Union County Environmental Health is currently seeking a student intern for the summer months (June to August). The ideal candidate for this opportunity is self-motivated and hard-working with an interest protecting public health. This position requires some background understanding of physical science and experience with laboratory methods. Students wishing to gain valuable experience in the field of environmental health, including the areas associated with private drinking water wells, groundwater quality and potential sources of contamination, on-site wastewater disposal systems, water quality data analysis and the use of geo-locational technology with ESRI/GIS applications are encouraged to apply.

Part-Time: (20-25 Hours/Week)

Compensation: $10.33 to 15.49 Hourly
