Mecklenburg County has an opening for an Environmental Health Supervisor in our Food & Facilities Sanitation Program.
We’re reaching out to experienced Environmental Health professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career and lead a team in one of NC’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas. This leadership role oversees a team of 6 to 8 staff members who inspect a wide variety of food service establishments throughout the county. Our program continues to expand rapidly, offering excellent opportunities for professional growth, innovation, and impact. All newly hired supervisors receive dedicated leadership development through Human Resources upon hire, as well as comprehensive training from program management as they continue to gain experience in the position.

Salary Range: Final offers are based on experience and internal parity. For reference:
- Starting salary for an EHS authorized in Food, Lodging, and Institutions and 5 years of experience: $100,000
- Maximum: $125,939
Minimum Job Requirements:
- 5 Years of Environmental Health Experience
- Hold an NC DHHS Authorization in Food, Lodging, and Institutions.
