Lincoln County Environmental Health is hiring for 2 Onsite Water Division positions. We’re excited to announce that one position is new this fiscal year and the other is due to an interoffice promotion. Our team is growing and we hope you’ll considering joining us.
The Onsite Water Division handles septic and well permits as well as enforcement of the Local Mosquito Control Ordinance. Lincoln County is an easy drive from Charlotte and other surrounding counties and boasts rural farms in the West and a thriving lake community in the East. Lincolnton is a quaint town with walkability to nearby restaurants, bars, antique stores and boutiques.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 30 semester hours, or its equivalent 45 quarter hours in physical, biological, natural, life or health science and two years of experience as an Environmental Health Specialist.
Salary
- $52,894.00 – 87,276.80 Annually and is commensurate with both authorizations and experience.
- A flex schedule with the option to work 4 – 10 hour days
- County issued vehicle (vehicle may be driven home if you live in Lincoln County)
