Durham County Public Health is recruiting an Environmental Health Trainer to serve as the lead trainer for our General Inspections Section (Food, Lodging, Intitiuion, Child Care and School Sanitation, Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention, and Tattoo programs). This role will oversee staff development activities, including organizing training sessions and creating educational presentations. Responsibilities also include conducting quality assurance evaluations for staff in the general inspections section and analyzing evaluation data to develop targeted training for improvement. This position is an excellent opportunity for an authorized REHS who excels at educating colleagues and operators.
