Dr. Styles of North Carolina Department of Agriculture spoke at the Western NCEHSA meeting on May 29, 2014. It was a great presentation.
One thing she said, there is no hormone-free chicken or beef. They are just like us, they produce hormones to regulate their bodies too. So they definitely have hormones.
Also, she said free-range chickens are not “vegetarian” because they eat worms!
